Here a lecture is held outdoors to observe the nature wonder of the Gilkey Trench. The glaciers of the Juneau Icefield in Alaska represent one of the largest glacier systems in North America. JIRP has studied the glaciers of Southeast Alaska while training the scientists of tomorrow since 1946.
