The JIRP Store

The Juneau Icefield Research Program started studying the glaciers of southeast Alaska in 1946. Since its founding, the program has measured and recorded changes to the icefield which is part of the Tongass National Forest on the US side and the Atlin Provincial Park on the Canadian side of the border. JIRP is widely regarded as one of the premier training programs for glaciologists and earth scientists in the United States. Purchases made through the JIRP Store go to continuing this mission.
