What They Signed Up For is a nonprofit project based in Washington State with the mission of telling the stories of veterans as a way to provide healing and public awareness. The book itself is a collection of stories from 18 men and women who served in the war on terror. Their stories are brutally honest, powerful, and provide a unique insight into what it means to be a combat veteran. Revenues generated from sales will be used to fund the printing of more books and enable us hold more speaking events.
