I am a photographer, travel writer, and bacon enthusiast living in the foothills of Mount Hood. I spend my free time traveling the scenic byways and hiking trails of Oregon and beyond with my camera capturing the natural beauty of the region.
Wahkeena means “most beautiful” in Yakima, the local Native American language. It also happens to be the name of one of my favorite waterfalls in the Columbia River Gorge, a region of Oregon where I can often be found on a hiking trail.
