UnitedStatues

Public Statues are reference points to our history and who we are as a country. Whom we choose to honor in stone, bronze or other materials, where we choose to put the statue, and whether or not it should be there are all important conversations around public art. My project which can be found on Instagram under @UnitedStatuesOfAmerica documents and discusses these questions and more. Each post on Instagram features multiple images of the statue and a well-researched history of it's creation.
