Born and raised on a farm in Virginia, I've always been surrounded by art. My father's a musician and my mother is an artist who has always made a point of encouraging creativity in all her children. My older siblings are all incredible artists and musicians, as well as most of my extended family. I spend a lot of my time in a make believe world of abstract drawings and capturing how I see the real world with my camera. When I'm not playing with pens and pencils, going where my camera lens takes me or tinkling the ivories I tend to the farm and its animal inhabitants while attending cosmetology school.
