Karen lives in Vancouver, WA, USA, with her husband and their 6 indoor cats. She occasionally fosters cats & kittens, and also took care of the feral cat colony who frequented the backyard at her old house.
She teaches Norwegian language and Scandinavian folkdancing. Some other hobbies are knitting, photography, needlepoint, sewing, and rubber stamping.
