James and Yvonne Welz created The Horse's Hoof in September, 2000. Our focus is on healthier hooves for all horses! We welcome and encourage all methods and theories of barefoot trimming. We advocate finding compromises to create more natural ways of horse care. We believe that a good system of barefoot care is the ultimate prevention against the serious hoof ailments that affect our domestic horses. Most of all, we just love horses!
