I've scribbled and scratched away at one surface or another ever since I realised I could do more with a crayon than chew it to a satisfying gooey pulp. Early affairs from childhood with the folklore and myths of Europe and the British Isles, comics, picture books, the classic Victorian illustrators and the 'Western Mystery Tradition', created a love for illustration in general and the true power of story. My work has appeared in The Guardian, Squall Magazine, Cornwall Today, 'Enhancing Your Mind, Body & Spirit,' and commissions for the grass-roots campaign organisation The Land is Ours, as well as creating all the signage for Rick Stein’s seafood empire in Padstow, Cornwall (till everybody else went vinyl!!). I'm also the author and illustrator of the children's book "Once Upon A Winter's Turning" in the Wooden Books series.
