The Aubergine Chef is a baking and pastry blog dedicated to helping home bakers and people interested in baking become better bakers. Initially, I did this through dessert demonstration via YouTube videos along with blog posts that reviewed what I did in the video and offered even more tips and each blog post was accompanied by a free PDF file recipe. Every week I release a new episode but the Aubergine Chef has become so much more! With new pages being added every time there's always something more to learn. The equipment pages review which baking utensils and equipment you need and which ones you don't. The food science and technique pages help increase your understanding about baking and the baking process as well as explain the best way to do simple techniques or to techniques to improve your finished products such as plated desserts. The measurements and conversions pages help you understand the concepts between measuring and weighing and includes a free web-based interactive spreadsheet to help you convert recipes from weights to measurements and measurements to weights.
