Taymyrsamoyeds

The Nenets people, also known as Samoyeds come from the Taymyr Peninsula of Northern Siberia, had Samoyed dogs living with them, guarding reindeer, looking after the children and keeping the family warm and cosy. As we live on the Mornington Peninsula, we chose Taymyr as our pedigree name, so we are “Taymyr” Samoyeds of the Peninsula. Deb has owned Samoyeds since 1985, our recent Samoyeds are from Dawn & John Wilders of Snerzok, who have encouraged and supported us to venture into breeding and provide us with backup and support.
