I have spent all my life drawing and painting in all types of media. I am very interested in mixing the old with the new and intend to use as many different types of media as possible in my work. I tend to do my paintings mostly using watercolour as it is my favourite medium however I like to experiment and practice using a variety. I have a National Diploma in Graphic Design and a Foundation Degree in Multimedia and Graphic Design. I really enjoy using Photoshop and spend time manipulating scans of my traditional work and enhancing their impact. There are quite often effects that can be achieved using more traditional methods that aren't so good reproduced using digital techniques and visa versa. I love mixing traditional pen and ink, pencil and watercolour with digital manipulation to create contemporary modern images that can be used for advertising, websites and print, portraits and pet portraits with a difference. Using Mixed Media and Multimedia paintings and drawings in marketing and advertising can help to intensify, capture peoples attention and enhance the effectiveness of your campaign.
