Girls of all backgrounds lose an interest in STEM during the middle school years. Native American children have the highest high school drop out rate and the highest suicide rate. Native American woman make up 0.07% of engineers in the workforce. That's why we are here, to help make a difference by Indigenizing STEM.
All royalties received by the store will be donated to Taking Up Space, a non-profit dedicated to expand Native American Girls' educational and career opportunities in STEM by sponsoring their trip to NASA’s Space Camp.
The Taking Up Space logo was created by graphic artist Brian Matney.
