In the film ‘Monty Python and the Holy Grail’, a French soldier tried to taunt Arthur by saying “I fart in your general direction. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries…” This is one of my all time favourite quotes and makes me laugh every time. If we cannot laugh at our life and it’s absurdities, we are doomed. Even Abraham Lincoln said, “I laugh because I must not cry, that is all, that is all.” My name is Suzanne van Leeuwen and I am the creator of suzcreate. I live in Southampton UK with my husband, who is Dutch, and our gorgeous cat. We all need love and joy in life, right? Especially in these dark times.
