Mansa Pryor paints fascinatingly stunning images expressing strong emotions of love, passion, peace and soul with awareness of the past, present and future. This is achieved through his brilliant grasp of color, contrast, value and in depth thought into his subject matter. Mansa Pryor, a self-taught artist developed his artistic abilities in high school and has earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Mason Gross School of the Arts-Rutgers University. He has displayed his work in the Newark Arts council Open Doors arts tour as well as the City Without Walls traveling exhibition Metro25 Show. A man of many talents, he boldly pushes his creativity, switching back and forth from realism, abstract and abstract expressionism. His latest series of paintings are acrylic on canvas and explore soulful expression of spirit through bold warm colors, natural earthy textures and experimentation with assymetrical balance.
