Something Floral™ (and parent company, Something Spectacular Special Event Design) is "The Picky Bride's Florist™". In business since 2001, Something Floral creates both fresh floral artistry and ultra realistic, superior quality, silk / artificial floral artistry for clients worldwide. We are a professional, certified, and licensed floral studio located in Michigan (metro Detroit area), and we are owned and staffed by real florists who are formally educated and certified in fine art, floristry, and/or horticulture. Each of our designers has many years of floristry and special event floral design experience, has graduated with at least a Bachelors of Arts or Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, has graduated from a formal, professionally accredited floristry or horticulture school, and has post-graduate education/training in the fields of design, interior design, graphic design, and/or photography. We are a well-rounded group of visual design professionals who are surrounded by floral inspiration every day! We've won several awards for our floral artistry and craftsmanship, and many of our fresh and silk floral designs have been featured in various national and international wedding, event, and floral industry books, magazines, and blogs (including "florist to the stars" Preston Bailey's blog). While floral artistry is our specialty, our designers are also accomplished fine artists, graphic designers, and photographers, and we offer their designs for sale in our floral studio and here on Zazzle. Each of our floral designers earns royalty for their designs that sell here in our Zazzle store, and Something Floral does not take any portion of their sales. We believe in providing a fair, ethical, stimulating, creative, and supportive work environment where our employees can excel and flourish in all forms of visual artistry and design.
