I'm Sheila McDowell, a retired Executive Assistant turned surface pattern and greeting card designer. Everything I make starts in Procreate or Affinity Designer on my iPad — watercolor florals, sage green foliage, warm cream and blush backgrounds. I design for the moments that need real words: sympathy, encouragement, thinking-of-you, the cards you send when you want someone to know they're not alone. I'm here for you — that's the whole idea behind my work, and it's true whether you're shopping for someone else or for yourself.
