About

My creative journey has taken me across the country and through many forms of art. For years in California, I practiced, studied, and taught painting, drawing, ceramics, and fine crafts. Art has always been at the heart of who I am. Over time, that passion expanded beyond traditional mediums and into the world of design, where I discovered a love for creating patterns, motifs, and compositions that could be transformed into beautiful products and meaningful keepsakes. Eventually, my curiosity led me to explore creativity in a completely new way. I moved to New York City, where I took my understanding of design, color, and composition into the kitchen, graduating from the French Culinary Institute and working as a recipe developer in the Food Network Kitchen. There, my “paint” became ingredients, and my “canvas” was the plate. Every dish was an opportunity to create balance, beauty, and connection through design. After years of designing with food, I felt the familiar pull back to the paints and tools of my studio, the place where I first fell in love with creating by hand. Today, I’ve settled in beautiful Wilmington, North Carolina, where the coastal light, ocean air, and changing seasons inspire my artwork, surface pattern designs, hand-painted ornaments, and digital creations. Whether I’m painting an original piece, developing a repeating pattern, or designing artwork for makers and creatives, each creation reflects my lifelong passion for craftsmanship, color, and thoughtful design. Every piece tells a little part of that journey, one that began in California, took root in New York, and now blooms by the sea in Wilmington. Through fine art, pattern design, and handcrafted work, I hope to create designs that bring beauty, inspiration, and joy to everyday life.
