I was born in Wolfenbüttel (where the Jägermeister schnapps is made) and grew up in Berlin and have lived in various districts in Berlin for many years. I have been living in the cultural city of Kassel for a very short time, where the world's most important series of exhibitions for contemporary art, the documenta, also takes place every 5 years. I have been passionate about photography since my youth and like to underline the drama and beauty of life with my work, as this reflects the feelings, moods, energies that I interpret in an artistic way as an ambivalence of daily life.
