Karen Alexander-Banks aka Auntie Karen has committed her life to the arts. As a child, she wanted to be an artist and painted often. Then life got in the way. Back in 2007, She rekindled her love of art and picked up the paintbrush again. The images reflect special people and occasions in her life. She placed those images on special occasion cards for her friends and family. Thus the creation of Polka Dots and Pearls, original artwork by Karen Alexander. Polka Dots and Pearls was named in honor of an amazing friend who loves to wear polka dots and pearls.
