My name is Patricia Vidour. I was born in the city of Rosario, Argentina, South America, where I live and work. I’m a descendent of French and Italian citizens who immigrated to Argentina during the 19th century. Since I picked up a pencil between my fingers, as a child, art has been in my heart. At the age of 14, I decided to make art my career choice. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in painting at 24, at Rosario Fine Arts University. I gambled my life for art, which is the most absolute degree of love. I worked as a professional artist since 1982. I express myself, in a variety of of media, including pencil, watercolor, acrylic, oil, inks and collage. The main focus in my art is to reflect accurately, the feelings of any, or every woman, her inside. The woman is the cellebrity of my art, her geography, her inner secrets. Nowadays, I work as a self-representing artist, selling my work internationally. My art is in private collections in many countries: Argentina, Spain, France, Germany, Checoslovaquia, Polonia, Austria, Hungria, Holland, Belgium, Italy, England, Russia, United States and Canada. Dr. August Coppola -Nicolas Cage's father-, “discovered” my art through internet, and he has an extense collection of more than 200 of my paintings. This work is my prayer, my storm, my light.
