I am a California artist who specializes in creating graphite, charcoal, colored pencil drawings, in addition to whimsical watercolors, and acrylic paintings, with the help of the Lord. My specialty is portraiture, as I love to capture the essence of people and animals. When I was a kid, I wanted to go to art school, and to become an artist, but that dream was never realized. Instead, I went to beauty school following graduating from high school, and then joined the working world with the responsibilities of making a living for many years. It was when my job ended due to reduction in workforce and job elimination that I began to focus on my childhood dream of becoming an artist once again -- this time with only the help of the Lord, who has helped me by making my dream come true. All of my artwork is done "freehand," meaning that I do not trace or measure any of my pieces, and rely solely on what my eyes and heart see in the subject, with the help of the Lord who gave me any talent and a dream of being an artist in the first place.
