Welcome! I’m Nokomis—“Grandmother” in Anishinaabe (Ojibwe/Chippewa). I am an enrolled member of the White Earth Band of the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe and make my home in Northern Minnesota. I’m a photographer and gardener who loves to travel, especially to Phoenix, St. Louis, and anywhere in between. Many of my photos come from the beautiful botanical gardens in these places. I have also added Florida to these adventures. My work is deeply personal. I carry the loss of my two Marine sons to PTSD, and in their honor I include memorial and suicide-prevention designs in my store.
