I'm an artist living in southern Maryland. My paintings celebrate those moments when peace illumines and transforms us. The women in my work are peacemakers, nurturers and justice seekers. Peacemakers from ancient times to the present inspire me. Their stories reaffirm the unlimited potential of the human spirit for good. I'm a storyteller and my paintings have often been described as visual poetry. Stories help us to remember that we are all connected, and what affects one of us, affects all of us. They have the power to inspire us to create the inner peace that sows the seeds for peace with others.
