Named_and_Famed

Art has always been a passion and hobby to me, from doodling as a child, to where I am now. As a child you’d always find me in the stationery Isles, pocket money, birthday money, everything was spent on the latest art supplies. I never really took art up as a career though, I dabbled in drawing, did a photography course at college but I settled with what I was told was the “sensible option”, and perused a career in finance. Fast forward to now, I have an autistic, selectively mute son (absolutely amazing child) but he can’t handle school, just the thought of school causes him to experience massive anxiety and panic attacks, so he’s currently being taught at home by the local hospital school and I’m having to drastically reduce my hours at work to accommodate his needs, teaching and appointments. Family come’s first before any career and he’s actually given me the opportunity to fulfil my dreams. This is where named and Famed is Born I’m doing this for him and I’m doing this for me. I’d love to make a full time career out of art while always having that flexibility to be there for him whenever he needs me. This is the start of our new journey.
