I love to make people smile.... I've been interested in clay for a lot longer than I've actually been messing with it... so far (just for reference it's May 2014). I fell in love with a wonderful shop, The Filigree, and was lucky enough to get a small collection of their pieces (3 dolls and 2 dragons). What they could do with clay just amazed me! This was a few years back now. I recently discovered some more amazing shops that very much inspired me to try playing with clay. I started off by making awards for my roller derby team (making little figurines with signs). :) They were a HUGE hit! To be honest I wasn't expecting them to go over as well as they did. Well that got the ball bouncing... I've been working on Mini Mons for about a month (now). I can see how I've improved on my techniques already and can't wait to see where the clay takes me in the future. I have another store that I own and run, it's for crochet.
