This site showcases my artwork spanning the years. About myself as the artist… I was always a lover of art and grateful to show some ability in the subject since the time I was young. When classes became available in middle school for art I was eager to take them, and continued to do so all throughout high school until there were no more structured classes for me to take. So I ended up signing up for “independent study” which basically meant I did what I wanted and hung around annoying the art teacher because I had no more credits to earn. In college I pursued other artistic dreams but on my 19th birthday my father gave me one hundred dollars and I went to the Posner’s Art Supply in Tucson Arizona and got outfitted for oil painting. The only instruction in painting I had up to that point was watching Bob Ross on the local Phoenix PBS station as a kid, that and scrutinizing the work of famous surrealists to try to reverse engineer their masterworks. I made a few interesting pieces with so little to go on and a fearlessness that sometimes is exclusive to arrogant beginners who don’t know any better. I have continued to work at my art and in the process of trying to tech myself classical techniques my style of painting has continued to evolve and change. My direct and intimate encounters with mysterious and spiritual secrets that few will ever know has altered my art in ways that I would have previously considered unrecognizable. I have had fun the whole way and hope to continue to do so. Now taking courses in my almost forsaken passion will lead to further changes in the ongoing and unknown road that art presents.
