Michaela was born & raised in Britain & re-located to Maine in 2013 at the age of 48. As a child, she had a passion for art at school, a talent passed down to her by both her father and her mothers brother. A marriage at 16 & a child at 17 put her passion on hold for 35 years until April 2017 when Michaela's passion for painting & drawing realistic images was re-born. Michaela lives with her husband, step-son & two dogs, a sulky, stubborn, spoiled, cute Boston Terrier & an extremely ditsy, energetic, loving & warm hearted adopted Dingo/ Carolina dog from Georgia, so it was fairly natural that fur babies would be her inspiration. She especially enjoys painting & drawing realistic images of pets, Boston Terriers are one of her specialities. ​Michaela spends her free time mostly painting with watercolors & drawing with coloured pencils, charcoal & graphite, she also dabbles with pan pastel, pastel pencils, acrylics, oils. She enjoys weekends out on the boat with her husband & their fur babies & walks on the beach. Michaela is also an avid couponer & has spent the last 3 years teaching couponing via blogging online, she also enjoys teaching couponing classes in her home over the cold winter months.
