I am the author of a series of nine novels known as the Hollywood's Garden of Allah series. They are set in and around the famously infamous real-life Garden of Allah Hotel at 8152 Sunset Boulevard, at the gateway to the Sunset Strip. Once the home of Russian silent screen star, Alla Nazimova, it was open from January 1927 to August 1959. During those 32 years, some of Hollywood's brightest names lived there: Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, Ginger Rogers, Errol Flynn, Orson Welles, Dorothy Parker, Robert Benchley - the list goes on. The hotel was a very special place during a very special time and I've made it my life's work to ensure that its memory lives on.
