Patrick Tamayo has had an extensive background in dance and martial arts. He has studied and performed with Maguindinoan master Danny Kalanduyan, and is studying under Maranao master Dr. Usopay Cadar. He has toured across the USA and Japan performing kunlingtan music and dance. Currently along with Lizae Reyes, they perform a ritual celebration called "Kalilang" practiced among the Maranaos. A giving thanks to Ancestral spirits, the Supreme Being, Mother Earth, a celebration of life. As a longtime Sagayan dancer Patrick's goal is to become the spiritual medium symbolic of bringing back light into one's life.
