Carlos F. Lemos is a mixed media artist born in Uruguay in 1974. Immigrating to the United States in 1979, he developed a passion for the arts, creating his first artwork on a lampshade using a sowing needle. Growing up, he would participate in many local contests such as the Halloween Window Mural Contest in Orange New Jersey, and the Star Ledger Contest. He is a former student of the Art Instruction Schools, the Arts School League in New York, and a self-taught student of landscape oil painting. He learned from his most favorite artist, Bob Ross, who hosted and starred in "The Joy of Painting" TV Series. Growing up in the city of Orange, as well as traveling often to New York, Carlos grew fond of the pervasive and widespread Graffiti, learning to take it up himself. At the turn of the 2020s, after a long hiatus from doing art, Carlos has been planning a return, With the help of his son, Carlos A. Lemos, he was able to gracefully transition into doing digital art. Giving him the ability to not only restore and remaster his previous works, but to make new ones.
