Lab Rescue of the LRCP (Labrador Retriever Club of the Potomac) is a volunteer driven, non-profit organization (Non-Profit Tax I.D. 52-1880024) with a two-fold mission: We rescue, foster and place homeless, abused, and/or abandoned Labrador Retrievers (and Golden Retriever-Labrador Retriever mixes) We provide a referral service for owners seeking to place their Labradors in new homes. We are similar to other rescue groups and shelters but we specialize in Labradors. Lab Rescue of the LRCP serves Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington, D.C., as well as adjacent parts of Pennsylvania, West Virginia and North Carolina. We place over 850 Labradors each year.
