Kimbra Studios

Kimbra Studios, was established in 1999 as My Life Designs. Founder Kimbra Orr began with the design and production of photo charm bracelets and cufflinks in the basement of her home in Littleton, Colorado. Kimbra started the business after seeing a locket that she loved, but questioning why photos always have to be hidden inside a locket. She felt that great memories should not only be shared, but shown off. Kimbra began designing solid sterling silver charms. She experimented with all types of sealant, working to develop one that would be airtight, waterproof and would last a lifetime without damaging the photo or silver. After discovering and creating a proprietary sealant, she had the quality that she needed, enabling her to focus on what she truly enjoyed: creating unique, contemporary designs. Kimbra Studios' products have received top awards and been featured nationally in print publications and broadcast, including Professional Photographer Magazine and NBC's Today Show. In 2003 the Wall Street Journal selected the company's jewelry as Best Overall and Best Value, a theme that has grown to become the central element of the entire Kimbra Studios product and customer experience.
