Karon Melillo DeVega

My name is Karon Melillo DeVega i was born in the United States and have always enjoyed hiking and exploring the wilderness. i am greatly influenced by my nordic, english, irish and native american heritage both spiritually and in my art. i dream in colours and i love the style of the great masters of impressionism and fauvism. I specialize in painting landscapes, seascapes, mythology, portraits and nudes. I prefer acrylics and watercolours, but i also love to mix media and do artworks combining watercolours, acrylics, inks, prismacolours, and many unusual media like lipstick, glitter gels, enamels, jewels, anything that moves me. I paint canvas, paper, rocks, driftwood, bones, seashells, etc. and i weave dreamcatchers and create mandarins. Sometimes i dabble in photography: nature, wildlife, florals, macro and many other subjects. I use a Canon EOS 50D
