Java Junction Designs

Java Junction is a coffee shop located in Trenton Michigan. But it is more than a coffee shop: it is on a mission to help people with developmental disorders gain employment. Java Junction is part of Arkay Incorporated, a non-profit organization that runs programs for the developmentally disabled and the elderly disabled. Java Junction is one of many of these programs; a shop that employs these people in order for them to get work experience in a supportive environment that understands their needs. As one of the developmentally disabled individuals employed in Java Junction, this place has given me my first job, something that I didn't always believe I could do. I have been able to see that not only could I gain work experience in a non-judgmental environment, but I have been thriving in my role! Java Junction doesn't just work as a way to gain work experience either, it also provides members of Arkay with a creative side an opportunity to make money by selling their art and products. I have been taking advantage of this opportunity by creating products to sell at Java Junction, but I have realized I can also sell my Java Junction designs online as well! This store front sells more of a variety of products than at Java Junction, so if you like one of my designs at the store, or even just found one of my products online, I hope you enjoy!
