GSOFamilies was founded in May 2012 by Becky Lange and Amy Blalock, two local Greensboro moms who recognized the need for a comprehensive compilation of Greensboro area family-friendly activities and businesses. As a one-stop website for families in the Greensboro, NC area, GSOFamilies.com provides information for family-friendly activities and recommendations of local businesses. In October 2012, Becky and her boyfriend, Jason Vincent, started a Meetup group to help facilitate meeting other families in the Greensboro area. Through the Meetup group, we share local activities, day trips, weekend getaways, and more - both with and without kids. All events are cross-posted on Facebook and Meetup. After receiving several requests, a group was added on Facebook in June 2013 to facilitate discussion and to grow a community!
