I don't believe in pre-meditation or curriculum when it comes to my work. I am not a prepared photographer. I am an OPPORTUNIST photographer. I think of anybody who can snap that perfect zoological moment of predators pouncing on prey, dolphins in mid-air or even some of the woodland-based organisms as very very impressive, but as I said in my newspaper article last Summer, it's the invertebrates that I consider as the ultimate. The triumphant of an underrated subject matter. Even the photographing of the various factions, species and subspecies has a sporting element to it considering how incomprehensibly fast reflexes of so many arthropods have. Furthermore, something that has outlived us by hundreds of millions of years and outnumbers us hundreds of millions to one is nothing to be sniffed at. After I got heavily into playing card back designs, I thought I would fuse this interest with less esoteric subject matter including erotica, Greek Philosophy, French controversial poetry, mental health, and religion.
