If the UK votes to leave the EU, the entire nation courts economic disaster. For the South West, where most of the investment is by the EU and very little by the UK, it will be devastating. Wages will fall, and a region already hard-pressed to afford housing because the Holiday Home buyers from wealthy Home Counties drive prices up, will be unable to afford decent housing at all. Mortgage failures will multiply as the value of the few pounds earned will decrease even more. The earnings gap will increase; homelessness will increase...and there will be no cure in sight. For the moment, this site is all about preventing imperialist wannabes from turning the UK back into a nation that uses its labour--its ordinary citizens--and discards them when the oligarchs and nobility has got every last ounce of work out of them. Help us help Brexit land in the dustbin of history, where it belongs, so we can go back to celebrating South West UK instead of protecting if from disaster. Thank you.
