Illustrator, solopreneur and founder of Drawer Full of Giants, Tania Hassounia is your ideas girl, lover of the colour blue and living outside the box. Her creative and entrepreneur talents started at a young age when she realised there was business to be made in pimping her artwork to the doily-crazed silver-set generation of her Nan and friends in the form of liquid embroidery. After working in an design agency straight out of high school and further creative rolls for small firms while raising her daughter, Tania, become conscious of the importance and responsibility of developing one's own natural talents. She went back to school in her late 30's where she earned a BA in Visual Communication - accomplishing a lifelong goal. Not really limited to 'just' earning a living; in 2014 Tania was voted one of "100 People Doing Extraordinary Things", as she lives inside her laptop and out of two bags while traveling the world. She also house-sits full time since transitioning into working remotely in 2011. Appreciating the value of 'giving back' Tania also inspires others to embrace their uniqueness and potential through the sharing of her adventures in business with God at the helm and traveling full time while illustrating as a digital nomad. Many of Tania's illustrations are inspired by yesteryear and nature - thanks to her growing up years of doodling on lazy summer days of kiwiana camping, and her father's avid interest and sharing in all things historic.
