As an African black woman, my love for the continent & the ability of its peoples to transcend its dark history, especially through creative outlets, never ceases to astound me. I value the role of all its people in building an Africa I can stand proudly & say I hail from. As an ode to all the women of color who have contributed meaningfully to our rich history, & to those who continue to elevate African worth, whether on the continent or in the Diaspora, these designs salute them. Often-times, Africa & women of color are not given the recognition they deserve for their resilience, tenacity, articulateness, brilliance, & absolute beauty; not only physically, but also of mind & spirit. This store celebrates, & beams with pride in offering products which acknowledge us all together in our deliciously different pigments, sizes & shapes, while concurrently bearing the mark of our diverse African heritages. The store name is inspired by Proverbs 31v31 which speaks to my faith & mirrors the brand ethos of positive lady-power vibes & upliftment of my fellow sisters. So I encourage you to spread & share the love through these products.
