Chiquitita_Apparel

I am a Mexican American. My Dad was of Irish and German ancestry and my Mom of Mexican and Native American. My mom and siblings were born and raised in Mexico. I was born and raised in the USA. So, growing up, I didn't express much pride for my Mexican heritage. But now that I am older, I see how my heritage makes up who I am as an individual and I find pride in that. I also feel that it is important to stand up for one's heritage, especially when it is being attacked and looked down upon, as I am seeing more and more each day. I say we stand and show that together, we are strong. Why the name Chiquitita? Because it is the pet name my Dad had for me. I use it in memory of him.
