In 2004, Sharon, the Founder of Carolina Hardware and Décor, sat down to rest while her toddler was napping. As she looked into her kitchen, she realized that she no longer liked her cabinet hardware. Upon searching for new hardware to add some spice to her kitchen, Sharon quickly realized that most hardware was "all the same" and very boring. It was at that time, that the idea of unique and custom hardware was born. She immediately started working to create a variety of designs that would add whimsy and fun to any room. Not only did the designs have to be unique, the products themselves had to be of great quality. By joining quality products and unique designs, Carolina Hardware and Decor has made it possible for decorative hardware to add a nice finishing touch to any room.
