So I started a blog called An Easy Dish (www.AnEasyDish.com). My cooking style can best be defined as easy. If it's not easy I don't want to make it. When I'm reviewing recipes, I usually stop reading when I get to words like yeast, emulsion, candy thermometer, double broiler or "this can be found online or at a specialty store". If I can't find it at the grocery store up the street I'm not going to make it. Unfortunately I probably miss out on some really great recipes, but I'd rather leave the hard stuff to Martha Stewart.
One thing I've learned since joining Pinterest is that many peoples idea of "the best thing I ever tasted" may not be the same as mine. It's tough to follow food blogs since everyone's tastes are so specific to them. I'd like to think that the recipes that I make are universally considered delicious (and easy) and I hope I have a talent for finding and making those recipes. I guess I'm about to find out.
