About 3 years ago my husband had to have his leg amputated. He knew I designed tshirts, so he asked me to make him one that read, "What are you staring at you two legged freak" for when he came out of surgery. Everyone loved it! I decided to post it for sale for others. I was curious about other amputee designs, but I could find hardly anything. A significant group of people without ways to express their unique situation. Ampu-Tees was born. The rest is history
