First of all, EVERY product sold through this store will have a certain percentage of their proceeds donated towards a small business fund. That fund will be used to assist small businesses across the country in their efforts to grow and succeed. American small business accounts for approximately 50% of the United State of America's $15 trillion GDP. Small business pays 44% of the country's non-farm payroll, and employs more than 50% of the American workforce. Yet, these companies don't receive the same tax incentives and preferential treatment that companies like GE, Sears, Verizon, Apple, and many other corporations receive. It is our purpose, and duty, to support these small businesses that have carried our country through The Great Recession. It's amazing what just $5 a week spent at a small business can do. On our page, we want to highlight different small businesses. We want to show people small businesses that they otherwise wouldn't be able to find. America United also wants to help small businesses by raising awareness and offering them a platform to show what their small businesses are about. Small business hasn't been bailed out. They don't receive billions back in tax incentives. They depend on us, the citizens of our great nation, to keep them going. Isn't it time we repay them for keeping our country going through these turbulent times?
