American Cream Draft Horses

Official Merchandise of the American Cream Draft Horse Association to allow everyone to enjoy the members' photos submitted of their beautiful and very rare Draft Horses. The ACDHA is a small group of members sharing the interest in a breed that originated in Iowa in the late 1800's/early 1900's. The breed was recognized by the state of Iowa as a distinct breed of Draft horse and members formed a charter in 1944. The breed came from a single mare of draft breeding with distinct coloring and willingness to please. As she was bred, her offspring all obtained her traits and were passed down even if bred to other breeds of draft horses.
