They say "the war against drugs" has failed. Actually, it's the REHAB system which has failed. Addicts are simply not finding the healing they seek. This has led to a tsunami of Opioid Addiction in America, South Africa and many other countries around the world. Drug counselors and rehab programs constantly lead addicts up the garden path by telling them they can solve their addiction problems through the "choices" they make - positive "choices" which will rely on "will power" in order to sustain them. The problem is that "choice" and "will power" are functions of the CONSCIOUS MIND - and ADDICTIONS and HABITS are firmly rooted in the SUBCONSCIOUS MIND - along with fears, phobias, memories of past traumas, deeply- seated family - perhaps toxic - relationships and experiences one carries from childhood, etc. The reality is that only HYPNOTISTS - and NLP Practitioners ( those schooled in Neuro-Linguistic Programing ) have the key to the door to get into the addict's subconscious mind in order to install a new paradigm - to permanently change an addict's habits, thinking patterns, etc. Any efforts to help an addict get over his habitual addictive behavior are likely to be doomed to failure until the SUBCONSCIOUS MIND is brought into the equation. Hypnosis can play a very positive role in helping addicts overcome their destructive habits, to build up their self-esteem and self confidence and make a fresh start in life - without the crippling mental disease attachment to opioids. The world needs to wake up to the fact that Drug Rehab programs have been misleading desperate people for years. The time has come for a radical change in approach if we are to have any hope of getting a grip on this evil monster called Opioids which is destroying both the addicts and their loved ones.
