Join Amanda Hartmann, Speech Pathologist in all things AAC! What is AAC? AAC stands for Augmentative and Alternative Communication. It sounds complicated but it’s not. Some children cannot always speak, so they use AAC. AAC can be communicating with pictures or gestures or typing. Children who use AAC may communicate differently but they still have stories and ideas to share with the world.
