Baptism Invitations from Zazzle Canada
Beyond the gaunt, sleepless face, we can tell that you’re gleaming with pride: it looks like you’ve recently welcomed a little miracle into your life. Now that the child is a few months old and you’ve settled into a routine (of sorts), it’s time to hold a christening ceremony that will introduce them to the Christian church (and solidify their name, of course). Recruit your nearest and dearest for this important event with some of our Independent Creators’ finest creations. Shop christening invitations on Zazzle.ca today!
What popular baptism invitation designs are on Zazzle?
Months have gone by and you’re trying to find the time to plan a christening ceremony, but your hands are full with bags of nappies and pots of mashed baby food. Fortunately, Zazzle is here to share some of the load with our pre-established baptism invitation templates, which range from the angelic and spiritual to the unique and personal. Adding the relevant details is easy, so we’ll focus on that later; for now, if you can grab a few valuable minutes between fits of crying, browse the following pages for our top-rated designs:
- Boy Christening Invitations: Get the word out about the new, diminutive ‘Man of the House’ with these baby blue templates. Add a photo of the guest of honour, or stick to text if you’d like to keep him under wraps until the big day!
- Girl Christening Invitations: On the other hand, if you’d prefer something ladylike, then our pastel pink christening invitations may be more appropriate. Expect to see lots of spring florals, elegant watercolours and graceful photos!
- Gender-Neutral Christening Invitations: On the other, other hand, the blue-pink dichotomy can also be seen as archaic. Our progressively themed baptism invites make extensive use of neutral white and yellow shades.
- Unique Christening Invitations: This smaller selection of cards continues the theme of inclusivity, and sees our Independent Creators at their most imaginative.
- Boho Christening Invitations: The increasingly popular ‘boho’ theme can be described as a combination of organic and manmade elements. In terms of our designs, it means you’ll see pampas grass decorating your borders and tropical flowers draped over your text.
How do I personalize my baptism invitation?
The good news is that choosing a name for your baby is a lot harder than personalizing a christening invitation – the hardest part is already behind you! Follow the step-by-step guide below, which takes you from browsing invitations to placing an order, and it won’t be long before another bundle of joy arrives – in your mailbox, this time. Indeed, once you’ve got some practice in, you can start customizing all kinds of invitations.
- Step 1: Select a design you like and click on its thumbnail to be taken to the product page. Most of our invitations for christenings are also now available as digital files. Click on ‘Instant Download’ if you’d like us to forward you an e-copy of your invite.
- Step 2: Once you're on the product page, choose a desired size, corner style and paper type. Some of our Independent Creators have also published the same invitation in different colour schemes: use the ‘Design Theme’ buttons to switch between these.
- Step 3: Click on 'Personalize' and 'Edit Using Design Tool.' You can then add images and text elements using Zazzle's design interface – this is where you'll add your own personal touch to your product!
- Step 4: Click 'Done' and see your final design! If you’re happy with the finished product, then you can ready it for purchase with our ‘Add to Cart’ button, located on the top right of the page. Once you’ve entered your payment and shipping information, we’ll be the godparent or sponsor from then on – not necessarily aiding with the child’s catechesis, of course, but certainly working to produce a high-quality custom invitation for you and your family!
What should I include in a baptism invitation?
As with any invitation, a christening invite should include the name of the child, the date and time of the event, the venue (usually a church or chapel) and the hosts (usually the parents). If you’re planning a luncheon or reception afterwards, then be sure to note the details of that, too, along with how and when to RSVP. Typically, baptism invitations are rather formal, if not necessarily solemn, and so you should avoid conversational, colloquial language. It is a religious sacrament, after all, and it’s important to be respectful!
