Printed t-shirts are created at a minimum of 150 ppi (pixels per inch).To fill the full area, we recommend that you use images that are equal to or larger than the recommended sizes below. For images smaller than these sizes, you should not fill the full area, but will have additional "white space".

• Pocket (4" x 4") = 600 x 600 pixels
• Horizontal (14" x 12") = 2100 x 1800 pixels
• Vertical (12" x 14") = 1800 x 2100 pixels

If your image is bigger than these sizes, it'll turn out even better since it will be printed at a resolution that is higher than the minimum.

Note that for embroidery, we recommend that you only use line art. Complex or realistic illustrations, which usually have blended edges or complicated detail won’t look as good when stitched out.

Zazzle’s digital printing system allows for an unlimited number of colors that won't fade on any fabric, even dark apparel.

For screen printing, you may use up to 8 colors per design, however fewer colors means less costs. Use our color filter to make your design less expensive.

Zazzle’s embroidery digitization software can reproduce any image using up to 17 different colors of thread.

Sure! Once you’ve created a design, you can customize the shirt colors and styles as often as you wish. This can be done from within your shopping cart or on the individual product page.
